Several years ago I was richly blessed many times over because not only did I get to teach about great saints and mystics of the Rhineland alongside Richard Rohr, one of our great contemporary spiritual giants, but we visited Bingen, the home of St. Hildegard, one of our great medieval spiritual giants. Along the away we interacted with fabulous art and architecture in Cologne, Strasbourg, and Colmar.
